After two years of foraging the New Zealand landscape for aromatic native plants to complement the botanicals of a classic dry gin, the Reid brothers are proud to present to you Reid+Reid, New Zealand native gin.
Reid+Reid gin is uniquely Kiwi, in that it is produced with three native New Zealand botanicals: kawakawa, manuka and horopito. Along with classic gin botanicals: juniper, coriander seeds, fresh orange zest, orris root, angelica root, liquorice root, cassia, nutmeg, fennel and cardamom .
The gin is distilled in a 200 litre, custom-made copper pot still in a small, Martinborough distillery by Reid Bro number 1 – Chris Reid. Reid Bro number 2 – Stewart Reid – is currently undertaking vital “R & D” in the cult global distilling hub of Edinburgh.
