Winemaking: This Syrah is made of the chave (hermitage) clone. It was fermented with natural yeast in an open stainless steel tank, than pressed and racked into French oak barrels (30% new oak) for malolactic fermentation and maturation for 16 months. A well structured wine with present tannins, good for cellaring and a great wine with hearty food.
